Yes. Mobile appointments are available for hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. The client must be alert, willing, and able to communicate awareness and understanding of the document being signed.

I notarize many common personal and business documents, including affidavits, powers of attorney, healthcare documents, consent forms, and other documents that require notarization. Documents must be complete and ready for signing, except for signature lines that must be signed in the notary's presence.

Fee typically include the notarization fee allowed by the State of Maryland plus a separate mobile travel/convenience fee. Final pricing may depend on travel distance, number of notarizations, whether the client is ready at the schedule time, and other appointment details.

Payment options may include credit or debit card and electronic payment methods such as CashApp, Venmo, PayPal. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed when your appointment is scheduled.

Notarial service can be completed when all legal, identification, document, and signer-willingness requirements are met. If the notarization cannot be completed due to issues with the document, signer readiness, identification, or legal requirements, appointment-related fees may still apply.

Please have your unsigned document ready and a valid government-issued photo ID available. All signers must be present at the time of the appointment and must be willing and able to sign.

Yes. Every person whose signature is being notarized must personally appear before the notary at the time of notarization.

In most cases, no. Many documents must be signed in the notary's presence. Wait until the appointment unless you have been specifically told otherwise.

Some documents require witnesses, but witness requirements come from the document or receiving agency, not the notary. Please ask in advance if witnesses may be needed for your appointment.

Appointments cancelled at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled, and the booking deposit may be transferred to the new appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

If you are unavailable, unreachable, unprepared, or unable to proceed within 10 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, the appointment may be considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable, and a new appointment will require a new booking deposit.

A valid, acceptable form of ID is required for notarization. If the notarization cannot be completed because the signer does not have acceptable ID, appointment-related fees such as the booking deposit and travel fee may still apply.

Booking deposits are generally non-refundable, but they may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment when sufficient advance notice is provided. If Inkwell Notary by Omari must cancel and cannot reasonably reschedule the appointment, any deposit or prepaid appointment fee will be refunded.
